How do I place my order?

Select the bike you want in our
store, click "Reserve Now," and complete the 30% deposit payment. Once payment is confirmed, we will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm your order.

Why do I only pay 30% now?

The 30% is your reservation deposit that confirms and secures your bike. The remaining 70% balance is only paid when you receive confirmation that your bike is already on the boat to Panama.

What payment methods are available?

We accept the following payment methods:

Is it safe to pay online with Kineto?

Yes — 100% safe. All card payments are processed by Stripe, the world's most reliable payment platform. Your bank details are never stored by Kineto.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order within the
first 48 hours after placing your
deposit and you will receive a full refund.
After 48 hours, the deposit is not

Can I change the model after placing
my order?

Yes, you can request a model change
within the first 24 hours of your order by writing to us via WhatsApp. After that period, changes are not possible as the import process will have begun.

How long does it take for my bike to arrive?

The entire process takes approximately
3 to 4 weeks from the confirmation of your
deposit:

- Week 1–2: Acquisition and preparation
in Florida
- Week 2–3: Sea freight Miami → Colón
- Week 3–4: Customs management and
delivery coordination

We keep you informed via Email or WhatsApp throughout the process.

Where do the bikes come from?

All Kineto bikes are imported
directly from certified suppliers in the state of Florida, United States. They are original models from the Lectric, Aventon, and Velotric brands — the best-selling electric bicycle brands in the USA.

Do the bikes come with import documentation?

Yes. Each bike comes with all the
required import documentation, including a commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and lithium battery documentation
according to the regulations of the National
Customs Authority of Panama (ANA).

Do I have to pay import taxes?

Import taxes and duties
are included in the final price you
see in our store. There are no hidden costs
or surprises at the time of
delivery.

Do the bikes come assembled?

Bikes arrive partially
assembled and require minimal assembly
of approximately 30 minutes. They come with all the necessary tools
and an instruction manual.
We can also arrange full assembly
for an additional cost.

What battery do the bikes use?

All Kineto bikes use
48V lithium-ion batteries.
Lectric and Velotric models have
UL 2271 certification — the most rigorous safety standard in the industry
for electric bicycle batteries.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

How much does it cost to charge the battery?

Approximately $0.10 to $0.15 per full charge
with Panama's electricity rates. A full charge takes between
4 and 7 hours depending on the model.
Compared to $8 to $12 of daily gas
— the savings are immediate.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Can I charge the bike with normal Panamanian current?

Yes. All Kineto bikes are
compatible with Panama's standard voltage
(110V). You only need a normal outlet
— no special installation required.

How long does the battery last before
needing replacement?

Kineto bike batteries are
designed to last between
500 and 1,000 full charge cycles —
equivalent to 3 to 5 years of daily use.
Range may decrease slightly
over time, which is completely
normal for lithium batteries.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Do the bikes work in the rain?

Yes. All Kineto bikes have
an IPX4 water resistance rating or higher, which means they
are resistant to splashes and light rain.
It is not recommended to submerge them
or expose them to very heavy rain
for prolonged periods.

Do I need a license to ride
an electric bicycle in Panama?

Currently, Panama does not require a special license
for electric bicycles for urban use.
We recommend staying informed about the regulations of the
Land Transit and Transportation Authority
(ATTT) as regulations for e-bikes are under development.

Are spare parts available in Panama?

We currently coordinate the import
of spare parts on demand. For specific accessories
and spare parts, write to us via
WhatsApp and we will manage the import
for you.

Where can I pick up my bike?

Pick-up is in Panama City
at a coordinated delivery point.
We will send you the exact address and
time of your appointment via WhatsApp when
your bike is ready.

Do you offer home delivery?

Yes — we offer home delivery
in Panama City and West Panama
for an additional cost of $15 to $30
depending on your location. For
other provinces, we coordinate special delivery
— write to us for a quote.

What do I need to bring to pick up
my bike?

To pick up your bike, you need:
- Your ID or passport
- Order confirmation
(screenshot or email)
- Full payment of the remaining balance

Can I send someone else to pick up
my bike?

Yes — you can authorize another person
to pick up your bike. That person
must present their ID and a
written authorization from you.

Do the bikes have a warranty?

Yes. Aventon bikes include a
2-year official manufacturer's warranty.
Lectric bikes include a
1-year warranty. The warranty covers
manufacturing defects in the frame, motor,
and battery.

What do I do if my bike arrives
with damage?

If your bike arrives with any visible damage,
you must notify us via WhatsApp
within the first 24 hours of
receipt with photos of the damage. We manage
the case directly with the supplier
and the shipping insurer to
resolve it as soon as possible.

Do you offer technical support in Panama?

Yes — we offer basic technical support
via WhatsApp for usage, configuration,
and maintenance questions. For
more complex repairs, we coordinate
with bicycle workshops in Panama City
certified to work with electric bicycles.
